Riunione preceduta da un incontro tra l’Ati e le rappresentanze sindacali dei lavoratori ex Girgenti Acque, da giorni in stato di agitazione. Anche oggi hanno il personale che garantisce il servizio idrico integrato ha tenuto quattro ore di assemblea sindacale e continua a rivendicare garanzie sul mantenimento dei posti di lavoro. Non sono bastate, finora, le rassicurazioni del presidente dell’Ati, il sindaco di Sciacca Francesca Valenti sulla salvaguardia di tutti i livelli occupazionali. Non vogliomo creare alcun problema sociale, men che meno mettere in difficoltà tante famiglie, ha ribadito anche questa mattina Francesca Valenti a proposito del personale in servizio.
Intanto, il piano d’ambito tanto temuto dai lavoratori e dai sindacati va approvato. La scadenza imposta dal Ministero è quella del 31 dicembre, ma si conta di arrivare all’approvazione nel corso della riunione di oggi pomeriggio.
Un passaggio fondamentale questo per non perdere gli importanti finanziamenti statali e comunitari che, solo per la città di Sciacca, ammontano a 56 milioni di euro per interventi sulla rete idrica e fognaria e sul depuratore di contrada Bellante. Intanto, sul fronte dei conguagli che tante polemiche e proteste ha generato nelle scorse settimane, al di là della momentanea sospensione delle bollette, l’Ati ha disposto un accertamento assieme al gestore sulla decorrenza dei termini e, quindi, sulla retroattività, ma anche sugli stessi importi delle bollette. Pare, infatti, che da un primo sommario esame siano già emerse delle criticità. In ogni caso, se alla fine della verifica l’utente sarà chiamato a pagare il conguaglio, ha dichiarato Francesca Valenti, l’Assemblea Territoriale Idrica pretenderà che gli importi siano pagati in un lasso di tempo maggiore rispetto a quanto previsto dalla gestione commissariale del servizio idrico, che tenga conto del difficile momento che le famiglie stanno vivendo.
