E’ quanto si profila in Sicilia a fronte di un aumento considerevole dei contagi e di un Rt che ieri è stato il più alto in Italia. Nell’ultima settimana l’isola ha raggiunto numeri da allarme in relazione ai contagi, ma il timore è sempre quello legato agli ospedali che, soprattutto nella zona di Palermo, hanno iniziato a manifestare segnali di sofferenza.
Sono ore di attesa. Il Comitato Tecnico Scientifico, convocato ieri dal governo regionale si pronuncerà ufficialmente in serata, ma è già emersa la linea del rigore, della stretta ulteriore chiesta al Presidente Musumeci che vada oltre i parametri nazionali. Secondo l’ultimo aggiornamento, quello in base al quale domani arriverà la suddivisione delle Regioni nelle tre colorazioni ormai note, la Sicilia registrerebbe un Rt prossimo allo 0,99. Oscirellerebbe tra il giallo e l’arancione, ma a preoccupare il Cts e anche il governo sono invece i numeri degli ultimi giorni, con un rapporto tra positivi e tamponi effettuati da allarme rosso.
L’indicazione che già trapela, dunque, è quella di disporre immediate restrizioni, indipendentemente dalle decisioni che arriveranno da Roma, a cominciare dalla spinosa questione scuola. Altre Regioni hanno già deciso di rinviare comunque il ritorno in classe. La Sicilia potrebbe seguire questo esempio. E non solo per le scuole superiori, la cui didattica a distanza è comunque prevista fino a lunedì 11 gennaio. Si vocifera, infatti, di un possibile stop alla didattica in presenza anche per le scuole di base in Sicilia, quelle che da calendario dovrebbero rientrare in classe, dopo le vacanze per le festività, giusto domani.
Secondo quanto avrebbero evidenziato gli esperti la situazione scolastica non si può decontestualizzare dal quadro di rischio epidemiologico. Insomma di fronte ad una situazione delicata, con numeri che negli ultimi giorni hanno visto la Sicilia scalare la classifica delle Regioni a rischio, vanno adottare misure stringenti che riguardino anche la scuola. Il sindaco di Palermo Leoluca Orlando, del resto, si dice pronto a chiudere le scuole, come aveva fatto nello scorso mese di novembre seppure poi facendo dietrofront ed adeguandosi alle decisioni del governo.
Quel che appare probabile è che per le scuole superiori lunedì non suonerà la campanella, pure per il 50% degli studenti come era comunque previsto, e che la didattica a distanza possa rimanere in vigore per tutto il mese di gennaio in Sicilia. Sulle scuole di base la decisione è ben più complessa e gli stessi esperti a livello nazionali hanno pareri discordanti. Giorni di attesa, intanto, non solo per il mondo della scuola. Da oggi siamo tornati in zona gialla “rafforzata” e fino a domani, per colorarci di rosso nuovamente nel fine settimana, in attesa di capire dalla prossima cosa potremo o non potremo fare.
