Delucidazioni sul progetto “Open Space” vengono invocate oggi dai consiglieri comunali di opposizione
Cinzia Deliberto, Gaetano Cognata, Silvio Caracappa, Salvatore Monte e Carmela Santangelo. Ritengono che questa iniziativa, riferita alla possibilità di utilizzare piazze e spazi aperti, potrebbe rappresentare, se ben normata, un’iniziativa estiva. "E’ chiaro - fanno notare - che non abbiamo avuto, ad oggi, una chiara delucidazione sulla portata dell’iniziativa. Resta inteso - aggiungono i consiglieri - che l’utilizzo di piazze, ville e cortili della città deve prevedere un serio ed attento lavoro di pulizia e ripristino del decoro urbano".
In tal senso i consiglieri evidenziano di avere nuovamente ricevuto innumerevoli segnalazioni in merito alla situazione in cui verso la Villa Comunale. Chiedono così quale sia la programmazione per dare maggiore lustro alla Villa “I. Scaturro” di Sciacca. L’8 Agosto 2019 era stato annunciato l’inizio dei lavori di riqualificazione al suo interno, un lavoro del valore di duecentomila euro. Un progetto, presentato in collaborazione con altri enti ed istituzioni. "Vorremo comprendere - dicono i consiglieri Cinzia Deliberto, Gaetano Cognata, Silvio Caracappa, Salvatore Monte e Carmela Santangelo - a che punto sia questo progetto e quali cifre siano state spese fino ad oggi". Fanno notare che le lamentele che giungono da molteplici genitori che scelgono la villa comunale come luogo di passeggio e svago per i propri piccoli, non hanno probabilmente rilevato alcuna miglioria. "Crediamo opportuno comprendere - concludono - quale sia la reale progettazione in atto e il calendario dell’eventuale esecuzione dei lavori".
