Ce ne siamo occupati spesso nelle ultime settimane. Il randagismo è nuovamente una emergenza a Sciacca in relazione alle tante segnalazioni da parte di cittadini preoccupati per la presenza di tanti cani che si aggirano per le vie della città. Situazione che oggi viene denunciata dai consiglieri Calogero Bono e Giuseppe Milioti, ma anche dai colleghi Gaetano Cognata, Salvatore Monte, Carmela Santangelo, Silvio Caracappa e Cinzia Deliberto con due diverse note che, ormai, certificano la distanza tra i due gruppi pure all’interno dello schieramento di centrodestra. Ma questa è un’altra storia, che attiene a questioni interne allo schieramento, mentre quella del randagismo è una problematica che non conosce colore politico in città. Bono e Milioti attaccano l’amministrazione Valenti sostenendo che questa è un’altra dimostrazione di incapacità amministrativa. Un commissario avrebbe fatto meglio, sostengono. Nel merito della questione tornano a sollecitare il sindaco ad assumere provvedimenti urgenti, con decisionismo e fermezza che si traducono nella cattura dei cani pericolosi. Anche Cognata, Monte, Deliberto, Santangelo e Caracappa chiedono all’amministrazione l’adozione di misure in grado di restituire serenità e sicurezza ai cittadini. Quando un genitore teme che possa accadere qualcosa al figlio che rientra a casa con lo scooter o quando,chi pratica sport , deve essere terrorizzato a fare una corsa o una passeggiata, allora vuol dire che qualcosa non va, hanno scritto i consiglieri, chiedendo al sindaco notizie sul servizio di accalappiacani e quali iniziative sono state assunte per fronteggiare il problema.
