Altro momento di approfondimento, ieri sera a Sciacca, su iniziativa del comitato Terre Sicane e del consigliere Alessandro Curreri, sul progetto della My Ethanol riguardante l’impianto ex Kronion di contrada Piana Scunchipani.
La questione rimane sempre quella della compatibilità del progetto con l’ambiente e l’economia del territorio saccense per la quale l’amministrazione ha espresso da subito la propria posizione. Ed è stato il sindaco Valenti a fare il punto sulle iniziative portate avanti per contrastare la realizzazione di questo impianto.
All’iniziativa hanno partecipato i comitati e le associazioni saccensi protagoniste della mobilitazione che si registra in città e che hanno svolto un ruolo di pungolo nei confronti dell’amministrazione comunale, del Libero Consorzio e della Regione Siciliana, enti competenti in materia di autorizzazioni al progetto della My Ethanol.
Ieri sera, su iniziativa del consigliere Alessandro Curreri, era presente anche il deputato regionale del Movimento 5 Stelle Giampiero Trizzino, ma anche la parlamentare Margherita La Rocca Ruvolo.
Si attende intanto la convocazione di una nuova conferenza di servizi tra comune di Sciacca e Libero Consorzio di Agrigento.
