Si tratta in realtà di un aggiornamento del piano di protezione civile già vigente da diversi anni ed è uno strumento moderno ed attualizzato che consentirà alle autorità competenti di predisporre e coordinare gli interventi di soccorso a tutela della popolazione e dei beni in un’area a rischio. Ha l’obiettivo di garantire con ogni mezzo il mantenimento del livello di vita” civile” messo in crisi da una situazione che comporta gravi disagi fisici e psicologici. Il nuovo progetto, che è stato inserito nei punti del prossimo consiglio comunale, ha tenuto conto di tutte le nuove zone interessate alle lottizzazioni oltre a potenziare le via di fuga delle borgate di Seccagrande e Borgo Bonsignore. Servirà anche per poter programmare interventi strutturali nella viabilità. Rappresenta un importante punto di riferimento nella gestione delle calamità da parte degli organi competenti soprattutto in un momento storico come questo in cui il verificarsi di tali contesti sta divenendo purtroppo quasi ordinario, ha dichiarato il vice sindaco con delega alla protezione civile Nicola Inglese che evidenzia, dunque, la necessità per il comune di Ribera di dotarsi di uno strumento operativo che permetta la condivisione e un coordinamento strategico delle attività necessarie per affrontare e gestire l’emergenza in tempi celeri e con fluida operatività. Il punto era già all’ordine del giorno del consiglio comunale della scorsa settimana che non si è svolto per mancanza del numero legale con le puntuali polemiche tra amministrazione e opposizione che, pur essendo la situazione ormai nota da tempo e legata al fatto che la maggioranza non ha più i numeri per garantire le sedute, si sono comunque generate. Amministrazione che, stamattina, auspica una approvazione del punto nel corso della prossima seduta di consiglio per consentire, evidenzia anche alla futura giunta di disporre dello strumento di pianificazione strategica degli interventi tendenti a garantire l’incolumita’ dei nostri concittadini.
