Questa mattina hanno formalizzato la richiesta di un confronto con il presidente Musumeci e l’assessore Armao per capire come la Regione intende procedere sulle Terme di Sciacca dopo la scelta di non prorogare il bando e la scadenza dello stesso senza che sia pervenuta alcuna offerta da parte di privati.
Comitato Civico Patrimonio Termale che rivendica il ruolo esercitato e il diritto della città di Sciacca di avere un ruolo centrale nel processo di valorizzazione delle Terme.
L’obiettivo è quello di capire qual è la volontà del governo. E, infatti, nella lettera inviata questa mattina si fa riferimento all’intervista alla nostra emittente dell’assessore Armao dalla quale non è emersa con certezza l’ipotesi di un nuovo bando a breve, ma l’accenno alle necessità di valutare anche altre opzioni.
Il discorso diventa davvero strategico, scrivon gli esponenti del Comitato Civico Patrimonio Terrmale, perché il riferimento potrebbe riguardare possibili forme di Partenariato Pubblico e Privato, da noi considerata come la “fase due”, necessaria dopo un eventuale esito negativo del tentativo di integrale privatizzazione del complesso termale di Sciacca.
E’ arrivato il tempo, hanno scritto nella lettera inviata a Musumeci e Armao, del fare bene e non solo del fare presto, ma anche il momento in cui la città di Sciacca, nelle sue espressioni sia civiche che politico/amministrative, riconquisti quella posizione di centralità che le compete di diritto sulla questione termale. E non sono mancati i richiami a quella che viene definita una questione di stile, una mortificazione per la città, ossia il mancato coinvolgimento nella decisione del governo di non prorogare la scadenza del bando.
