È quanto sancisce un’apposita ordinanza emessa dal dirigente della Polizia Municipale di Sciacca che va ad integrare un precedente provvedimento che permetteva la circolazione sulla piazza soltanto ai veicoli autorizzati.
La piazza don Minzoni era già, infatti, interdetta alla circolazione veicolare, eccezion fatta per i veicoli autorizzati al carico e scarico merci ed altro.
Fino a quando i tappeti saranno collocati in piazza Duomo, invece, nessun mezzo a motore, compresi i carri funebri, potranno circolare sull’area pedonale.
L’ordinanza è, dunque, momentanea, almeno fino alla fine del mese. Secondo quanto comunicato dall’assessore Sino Caracappa alla nostra redazione, i tappeti dovrebbero rimanere sul posto, orientativamente, infatti, almeno fino al prossimo fine settimana.
La disposizione della Polizia Municipale a tutela e salvaguardia dei pregiati tessuti arriva, però, un po’ in ritardo. Come testimoniano diverse foto che hanno fatto il giro dei social, non sono mancati casi di ciclomotori sui tappeti, automobili ed altri mezzi, con la conseguenza che alcune macchie e stampe sono state già impresse sugli stessi. Sulla faccenda era intervenuto anche il consigliere Salvatore Monte.
Intanto, ad ordinanza emessa, scatteranno gli appositi controlli al fine di far garantire il rispetto del provvedimento.
