in collaborazione con il Comune di Sciacca e l'associazione Acquario, ha deciso di consegnare una targa all'equipaggio del motopesca saccense “Accursio Giarratano”, resosi protagonista la scorsa estate di un grandissimo gesto di solidarietà quando salvò da morte certa 50 migranti partiti dalla Libia a bordo di un gommone rimasto in avaria in acque maltesi. Si tratta dell'ennesimo riconoscimento per Carlo e Gaspare Giarratano e per Giuseppe Vitale, Vincenzo Dimino, Vincenzo Lombardo e Calogero Scaduto, tutti presenti questa mattina alla cerimonia che si è svolta nell'atrio superiore del palazzo municipale.
A consegnare la targa Ivana Dimino, psicologa del team sanitario di Mediterranea Saving Humans, ed il vicesindaco e assessore alle politiche sociali Gisella Mondino.
