la replica di ieri dell'attuale sindaco alla nota dell'opposizione di centrodestra a proposito della revoca del finanziamento per la casa albergo per anziani, nella parte in cui Francesca Valenti ha tenuto a precisare che il termine ultimo per l'apertura della struttura era quello del 31 gennaio 2017 e dunque un periodo in cui a governare era proprio l'amministrazione Di Paola.
Sindaco Valenti che viene accusata ancora una volta di scaricare la responsabilità sempre sugli altri e, segnatamente, sull’amministrazione precedente, offendendo l’intelligenza della cittadinanza se si considera che sono trascorsi tre anni e mezzo dall’insediamento dell'amministrazione Valenti.
Ed ecco che la precedente amministrazione, in una lunga nota stampa, oggi riferisce per filo e per segno cosa è stato fatto dalla giunta Di Paola per rendere operativa e funzionante la casa albergo per anziani e per utilizzare il finanziamento di euro 3.500.000 a suo tempo intercettato ed ottenuto dall’amministrazione del sindaco Vito Bono: dall'approvazione in giunta, nel 2013, del progetto esecutivo e successivo appalto delle opere e aggiudicazione dei lavori completati poi nel 2016 fino alla emanazione di un secondo bando per la gestione, dopo che il primo era andato deserto, nel maggio 2017, con termine ultimo per la presentazione delle domande sei giorni prima del turno di ballottaggio che ha sancito l’elezione del sindaco Valenti. Successivamente è avvenuta l’aggiudicazione. Questo è quello che ha fatto la giunta Di Paola, scrivono oggi ex sindaco ed ex assessori, chiaro e trasparente, perfettamente riscontrabile dagli atti. Cosa hanno fatto, invece, il sindaco Valenti e la sua amministrazione in ben tre anni e 4 mesi dal loro insediamento per rendere fruibile un’opera pubblica che era stata loro consegnata chiavi in mano e con una bando per la gestione privatistica già diramato? Leggendo il decreto di revoca, fa notare la precedente amministrazione, emerge che il Dipartimento ha cominciato a chiedere chiarimenti sin dal 18 dicembre 2017, ricevendo a suo dire, sempre risposte evasive e non esaustive. Anzi, proprio a fronte di tale richiesta, l’Amministrazione Valenti comunicava “l’imminenza della conclusione del procedimento e la relativa stipula del contratto”. Ed allora, se è così, quali altre responsabilità si vogliono addebitare, perché se è stato dichiarato in atti ufficiali l’imminente stipula del contratto, ciò non è stato fatto e si sono fatti trascorrere altri due anni e 10 mesi? Infine, fa notare ancora la precedente amministrazione, il sindaco in persona è stata convocata presso il Dipartimento il 15 gennaio 2020, specificandole che la mancata produzione di documenti idonei a dimostrare la messa in uso dell’immobile avrebbe comportato l’immediata attivazione della procedura di revoca del finanziamento. Da allora sono trascorsi 10 mesi e non si sa cosa sia stato fatto per evitare che ciò accadesse. Ex sindaco ed ex assessori chiariscono infine che alla precedente amministrazione non è mai stato notificato alcun preavviso di revoca del finanziamento. Non ci si può sempre arrampicare sugli specchi e non si può continuamente mistificare la realtà. Da cittadini ed ex amministratori, conclude la precedente amministrazione, ci auguriamo semmai che veramente si stia lavorando per porre un rimedio a questa revoca che creerebbe ingenti danni al nostro Comune e soprattutto alla nostra Comunità.
