arteria altrettanto transitata da cittadini e residenti. E’ quanto hanno chiesto questa mattina i rappresentanti del comitato di contrada Seniazza Anna Vaccaro, Giuseppe Catanzaro e Giuseppe La Rosa dopo avere constatato che, nelle vie della città dove insistono plessi scolastici, sono in corso interventi della stessa tipologia.
Il quartiere della Seniazza è parecchio transitato, anche per la presenza di attività commerciali e artigianali e la richiesta scaturisce dall’esigenza di garantire la sicurezza ai pedoni. Comitato che, poi torna a sollecitare maggiore attenzione per la località, a cominciare dalla bonifica delle aiule in prossimità degli alloggi popolari e delle aree più degradate. Nonostante l'emergenza covid, scrivono i rappresentanti del comitato di zona, la nostra attività non si ferma e in questi ultimi mesi abbiamo messo in campo diverse iniziative alle quali hanno collaborato volontari per la pulizia pulizia degli spazi verdi vicini alle abitazioni, in aree storicamente abbandonate e per rendere vivibile il quartiere. Ovviamente ritengono che alle iniziative dei volontari debbano seguire anche interventi da parte del comune, a cominciare dal potenziamento dell’impianto di illuminazione pubblica. L’ipotesi alla quale stanno lavorando è anche quella di arrivare ad un protocollo di collaborazione tra Comune, Istituto Autonomo Case Popolari e Comitato di quartiere per interventi di riqualificazione della zona e per dotarla di servizi oggi mancanti.
