la piattaforma informatica organizzata dalla Regione Siciliana sta scontando più di qualche problema. Per quanto semplice e intuitivo (per usare le parole dell'assessore regionale Razza) possa essere il sistema, non sono poi così tanti gli anziani in grado di effettuare la prenotazione autonomamente. Pur dovendo avere qualche nozione informatica (oltre ad un computer o ad uno smartphone) non mancano certo le difficoltà di connessione o di buon esito definitivo del tentativo. In ogni caso quello che sta venendo fuori è un riscontro variegato di risposte, dalle date indicate (alcune delle quali forse un po' troppo lontane nel tempo, visto che sono diversi i casi di prenotazioni alla fine di aprile) alle stesse località (diverse da quella di residenza) da dovere raggiungere per ottenere la somministrazione. C'è chi, nel nostro hinterland, tanto per fare un esempio, ha appreso che il vaccino glielo potranno fare a Licata, mentre ci sono anziani di Palermo che dovrebbero venire a Sciacca. Un sistema evidentemente da rivedere, magari coinvolgendo i medici di famiglia (non si è capito bene perché questo non sia ancora stato fatto). Anche perché non è certamente con questo andazzo che potrà essere mantenuto l'impegno del presidente Musumeci a vaccinarci tutti entro l'estate. Ma sulle difficoltà degli anziani sono ammirevoli gli interventi delle organizzazioni sindacali (CISL e CGIL) che hanno messo a disposizione i loro uffici per aiutare questa parte della popolazione a fare la prenotazione, anche attraverso il telefono. Anche il comune di Burgio ha organizzato un servizio di aiuto alle persone anziane per la prenotazione del vaccino sulla piattaforma della Regione Siciliana. La risposta all'iniziativa promossa a Burgio è stata significativa: in appena due giorni sono stati già oltre un centinaio (a Burgio ci sono 2.600 residenti circa) i cittadini "over 80" che hanno chiesto e ottenuto aiuto dal personale comunale.
