Sessantanove i positivi, su una popolazione stimata di circa 12 mila abitanti. Il sindaco del comune agrigentino, Silvio Cuffaro, ha firmato ieri una nuova ordinanza con cui dispone misure restrittive per contenere il contagio in attesa di una risposta dal governatore Nello Musumeci a cui è stata chiesta l’istituzione della zona rossa. Già negli scorsi giorni su Facebook il primo cittadino aveva, invitato la popolazione a mantenere alta l’attenzione. Con la nuova ordinanza, a Raffadali, si chiudono tutte le scuole, con attivazione della didattica a distanza, e si limitano le uscite dalla propria abitazione soltanto per “gli acquisti essenziali, ad eccezione di quelle per i farmaci, limitate ad una sola volta al giorno e ad un solo componente del nucleo familiare, tranne le persone ultrasettantenni e le persone con disabilità che hanno necessità di farsi assistere da un accompagnatore”. Stretta anche sui funerali dove “la partecipazione alla cerimonia funebre e all’accompagnamento del feretro all’ultima dimora è limitata solo agli stretti congiunti e al personale addetto alle imprese funebri, evitando le visite di lutto a casa”. Inoltre è interdetta la fruizione delle aree a verde pubblico; limitazioni anche per fare attività sportiva all’aperto.
Scuole chiuse non solo a Raffadali, anche in un altro comune agrigentino, Aragona. Il primo cittadino Giuseppe Pendolino scrive sui social che "Considerato l’aggravarsi della situazione epidemiologica locale e sentite le autorità competenti, ha firmato un'ordinanza sindacale di chiusura temporanea di tutti i plessi delle scuole di ogni ordine e grado ubicate nel territorio comunale. Anche in questo caso, le lezioni proseguiranno con la formula della didattica a distanza.
Insomma, torna l’incubo, nell’agrigentino, delle scuole chiuse e delle restrizioni da zona rossa.
In provincia i casi sono in leggero rialzo, ma la situazione, tutto sommato, continua ad essere sotto controllo, a parte, come dicevamo, in determinati comuni. A Sciacca, negli ultimi giorni, si è registrato un crescente aumento dei contagi, ad oggi sono 74, numero che sta allarmando la popolazione, sebbene sia da considerare il numero totale dei residenti in città, che si attesta attorno ai 40 mila abitanti. In proporzione, dunque, la percentuale dei soggetti positivi è ancora bassa. Lo stesso sindaco della città, Francesca Valenti, ai nostri microfoni, aveva spiegato che i positivi al covid sono soggetti adulti. Il mondo della scuola e della movida non sembrerebbero, infatti, essere interessato dagli ultimi contagi. Anche per questo il primo cittadino, al momento, non starebbe valutando nuove restrizioni, ma c’è, invece, chi le invoca. È il caso dell’ex consigliere comunale Silvio Caracappa. “C’è troppa gente in giro e a qualsiasi orario”, ha scritto ieri in una nota l’ esponente di Diventerà Bellissima, sollecitando Francesca Valenti a valutare la predisposizione di una ordinanza urgente ed indifferibile che miri ad arginare i tanti assembramenti che si registrano purtroppo ancora in ogni parte di città. “Comprendo la crisi del settore commerciale e sono vicino ai tanti commercianti che stanno soffrendo - aggiunge Caracappa - ma non si può accettare che in un periodo di piena pandemia, purtroppo così attuale, in tanti si organizzano attorno ad un tavolo per un aperitivo o altro, senza rendersi conto della fase così delicata e di quanto - conclude - può essere dannosa una folta presenza per le vie della città”.
