è stato subito accolto da Tribunale per i diritti del malato Cittadinanzattiva di Sciacca che oggi manifesta pieno sostegno alla legittima protesta del parlamentare saccense che ieri, com'è noto, al nostro telegiornale ha denunciato il notevole ed ingiustificato ritardo nell’attivazione dell’area medica Inps che doveva essere già operativa all’interno dell'ospedale di Sciacca. Una soluzione, questa, ricordano Lilla Piazza e Piera Di Martino, che ha comportato lo smantellamento dell'importante servizio erogato dal centro Alzheimer, anche questo indispensabile nella cura e nella difesa di soggetti altamente fragili con notevoli disagi anche per i familiari di coloro che soffrono di questa patologia. Oggi purtroppo, con grande amarezza bisogna prendere atto che non si è ancora provveduto all’attivazione né dell’uno nè dell’altro servizio. Anche Tribunale per i diritti del Malato Cittadinanzattiva, da sempre impegnato nella tutela dei diritti delle persone in condizioni di debolezza, ha protestato nei mesi scorsi presso le autorità competenti, prima per la paventata chiusura del centro medico legale Inps e intervenendo anche quando poi è stato chiuso. Ritenendo inconcepibile e inammissibile che tanti cittadini, soprattutto anziani, siano costretti con grande disagio a raggiungere Agrigento, percorrendo tra l'altro strade spesso impraticabili e con mezzi pubblici insufficienti, Lilla Piazza e Piera Di Martino sollecitano chi di competenza ad attivarsi celermente per assicurare al più presto tale importante servizio nel distretto sanitario di Sciacca.
