"Lavori di urgente manutenzione straordinaria” per le Terme di Sciacca ed Acireale. Si tratta della delibera di giunta annunciata da Margherita La Rocca Ruvolo e poi confermata dallo stesso governatore durante la sua discussa intervista rilasciata al nostro Telegiornale. Un provvedimento che Francesca Valenti oggi stigmatizza evidenziandone tutte quelle che, a suo dire, sono le lacune. Una manutenzione che, negli intenti, dovrebbe essere il viatico per il quarto bando, con l'obiettivo di rendere i beni termali più appetibili per i privati. Ma tempi e modi sono tuttora al centro di un mistero. Anche se c'è la conferma che non si farà niente per Sciacca che non interessi anche Acireale.
Il tema Terme intanto continua ad alimentare il dibattito politico. Nelle scorse ore, in un'intervista rilasciata al sito Risoluto.it, Matteo Mangiacavallo ha detto di non avere partecipato alla "Marcia a piedi su Palermo per le Terme di Sciacca" perché non è stato invitato. Durissima la reazione della Valenti: "La prossima volta gli mandiamo una pergamena". Il punto, per il sindaco di Sciacca, è che da deputato della maggioranza (anche a seguito del patto di fine legislatura del gruppo "Attiva Sicilia" composto dai fuoriusciti del Movimento 5 Stelle) Mangiacavallo non ha assolutamente mostrato interesse nei confronti delle Terme.
Intanto la Valenti conferma che la battaglia civica sul destino delle Terme di Sciacca continua, e annuncia una lettera al giorno al presidente della Regione Siciliana, che non ha ricevuto i partecipanti alla marcia.
