la richiesta di accesso agli atti firmata da Matteo Mangiacavallo al comune. Chiede di disporre della "copia conforme all'originale o della produzione in formato digitale della documentazione e delle interlocuzioni intercorse da gennaio ad oggi tra il comune e la società Terme di Sciacca e tra il comune e l'assessorato all'Economia sul patrimonio termale". A rivelare la notizia di questa richiesta è stata Francesca Valenti, la quale ha manifestato la sua delusione, domandandosi quale sia l'obiettivo del parlamentare: "Da un deputato che fa parte della maggioranza che governa la Regione Siciliana, proprietaria delle Terme, non mi aspettavo una cosa di questo tipo". La sensazione della prima cittadina sembra essere quella di un deputato che è di Sciacca che, nella battaglia sulle Terme di Sciacca, ha deciso di giocare la partita dalla parte della metà campo di Musumeci. Ad avvalorare questo scenario adesso c'è perfino la richiesta di accesso agli atti, prerogativa comunque legittima di ciascun cittadino (soprattutto se si tratta di un parlamentare della Regione). Iniziativa che Sino Caracappa definisce "un autogol politico".
Intanto, per la serie "una polemica al giorno", è il turno di quello che oggi l'assessore al Turismo Sino Caracappa ha definito "equivoco" sorto con la Chiesa del Carmine sul pellegrinaggio odierno in direzione Monte San Calogero per affiancare, all'iniziativa religiosa, anche il senso della battaglia civica sulle Terme. Sullo stesso tema sempre oggi è intervenuta Francesca Valenti, che ha fatto sapere che l'amministrazione parteciperà alla santa messa in basilica di questa sera, precisando di avere deciso di sospendere il cammino a piedi nonostante fosse compatibile con le norme. "Ci adeguiamo alle indicazioni provenienti dall’autorità religiosa”, ha dichiarato la Valenti. Sino Caracappa aggiunge: "Io faccio il pellegrinaggio a titolo personale". La Valenti ribadisce come le iniziative per le Terme di Sciacca non si siano fermate a Palermo il 21 maggio con l’arrivo della marcia in piazza Indipendenza e il mancato ricevimento del Governo regionale. Continuiamo a tenere desta l’attenzione per ottenere le risposte che abbiamo chiesto e ancora non ottenuto", ha concluso la prima cittadina che oggi ha inviato una nuova lettera a Musumeci, nel solco della protesta contro la Regione.
