ha richiesto la dichiarazione dello stato di calamità naturale per i pesantissimi danni provocati dal maltempo. La delibera è stata adottata dalla giunta Valenti questa mattina e verrà ora trasmessa alla Regione. Nel frattempo continuano ad essere operative le ditte già incaricate per le opere di sfangatura nei vari punti della città e a queste da oggi si è aggiunto il personale messo a disposizione dall’Ente di Sviluppo Agricolo, ossia un mezzo e due operai specializzati. C’è tanto da fare e si sta dando la priorità alla viabilità, dal centro alle periferie. Intanto, la Regione ha comunicato la disponibilità di circa 120 mila euro che il Comune di Sciacca intende utilizzare per il torrente Foce di Mezzo e il Ponte Baiata.
Si attende ancora l’esito del sopralluogo che lunedì scorso hanno effettuato in città la Protezione Civile Regionale, il Genio Civile e la struttura commissariale per il dissesto idrogeologico.
