coperte anche le somme urgenze spese per gli interventi prioritari di messa in sicurezza delle aree cittadine danneggiate dall'ultima alluvione. Lo ha detto oggi al nostro Telegiornale l'assessore comunale Michele Bacchi, chiarendo che questa scelta è stata fatta per scongiurare eventuali futuri debiti fuori bilancio. Ed è stata proprio la questione dei debiti fuori bilancio messa al centro del nuovo documento contabile. Un bilancio di previsione che per l'anno che sta per concludersi è stato approvato in netto ritardo. Situazione però diffusa in tutta la Sicilia. Tra gli altri problemi più urgenti affrontati dall'amministrazione Valenti anche la necessità di cominciare a coprire il disavanzo da 2,3 milioni di euro emerso dall'ultimo Rendiconto di gestione. Rimane in piedi il problema dei crediti di dubbia esigibilità, somme che il comune (in virtù del principio dell'armonizzazione contabile) è costretto a trovare e che non può utilizzare. Un tema, questo, al centro delle recenti proteste dei sindaci siciliani, che hanno chiesto al governo nazionale di risolvere questo problema perché i comuni sono letteralmente ingessati.
