ancora una volta buona parte del territorio di Sciacca, rimangono decisamente aperti gli interrogativi sulla necessità di recuperare al più presto il collegamento garantito dalla via Lido, strada interrotta dopo il grave cedimento del muro di contenimento che oltre a portarsi via un'ampia porzione di asfalto ha reso pericolante un edificio di civile abitazione. Mentre qualcuno arbitrariamente (e pericolosamente) non ha esitato ad aprirsi un varco tra le transenne pur di potere continuare a percorrere questa strada, si sta facendo spazio l'ipotesi di creare una bretella laterale da ricavarsi all'interno di un terreno privato. Una possibilità sulla quale l'ingegnere Mario Di Giovanna, in rappresentanza del comitato via Lido-via Isola Ferdinandea, non nasconde i propri dubbi. Ritiene, in particolare, il professionista, che si potrebbe sfruttare la possibilità di sistemare finalmente la via Isola Ferdinandea, parallela sottostante alla via Lido che costeggia la vecchia linea ferroviaria. Con Di Giovanna abbiamo poi parlato della vicenda riguardante l'edificio di civile abitazione evacuato dopo il crollo del muro di contenimento e su cui lo stesso ingegnere, e il suo collega Matteo Accardi, hanno ricevuto un incarico dai residenti che non hanno nemmeno la più lontana idea, al momento, di quando potranno tornare legittimamente nelle loro abitazioni.
