a sindaco e delle liste dei candidati per i consigli comunali. In Sicilia sono 129 i comuni interessati alla tornata elettorale che coinvolgerà quattro capoluoghi di provincia: Catania, Ragusa, Siracusa e Trapani. In 114 centri si voterà col sistema maggioritario, come previsto al di sotto dei 15 mila abitanti, mentre negli altri 15 comuni si andrà al voto con il sistema proporzionale. Si vota domenica 28 maggio, dalle ore 7 alle ore 23, e lunedì 29 maggio, dalle ore 7 alle ore 15. L’eventuale turno di ballottaggio è previsto domenica 11 e lunedì 12 giugno.
In provincia di Agrigento i comuni interessati al voto sono 14. Si voterà con il sistema proporzionale solo a Licata dove sono tre i candidati a sindaco: Angelo Balsamo, Fabio Amato e Angelo Iacona. A Menfi la sfida è tra Vito Clemente e Ludovico Viviani. A Sambuca di Sicilia sono candidati a sindaco Sario Arbisi e Giuseppe Cacioppo. A Cianciana si candida il sindaco uscente Francesco Martorana, la sfidante è Linda Reina. Si ricandida anche il sindaco uscente di Burgio Francesco Matinella. L’altra candidatura ufficializzata nelle ultime ore è quella di Vincenzo Galifi che già cinque anni fa si era candidato. A Lucca Sicula la sfida è tra l’uscente Salvatore Dazzo e l’ex sindaco Giuseppe Puccio che cinque anni fa non si era ricandidato e adesso torna in pista. A Ravanusa sono quattro i candidati sindaco: Vito Ciotta, Kabiria Loggia, Lillo Massimiliano Musso e Salvatore Pitrola.
A Calamonaci il sindaco uscente Pino Spinelli dovrà vedersela con Vincenzo Scorsone che ha ufficializzato la candidatura a sindaco soltanto nelle ultime ore.
Tre i candidati a Catrofilippo dove a sfidare il sindaco uscente Franco Badalamenti saranno Ilenia Dainotto e Salvatore Gioacchino Baio. A Grotte oltre all’uscente Alfonso Provvidenza l’altro candidato è l’ex sindaco Paolo Pilato. Non ha avversari Francesco Cacciatore, attuale sindaco di Santo Stefano Quisquina, alla sua terza candidatura . Si ricandida anche il sindaco di Sant’Angelo Muxaro Angelo Tirrito, l'altro candidato è Alfonso Caci
