E' il gruppo della DC di Sciacca ad annunciare la notizia dell'avvenuto finanziamento, da parte della Regione Siciliana, di due progetti presentati dal Comune di Sciacca nell'ambito di un programma finalizzato alla realizzazione, da parte degli enti locali, di iniziative di carattere sociale, economico – turistico e culturale volte alla valorizzazione delle eccellenze e delle tradizioni identitarie locali, per un importo complessivo pari a 80 mila euro. Il finanziamento, assegnato dall'Assessorato Regionale alle Autonomie Locali, è destinato, nello specifico, alla realizzazione di due progetti: il primo denominato "Ducizza", per un importo complessivo pari a 35 mila euro; il secondo, "valorizzazione della produzione di ceramiche storico – artistiche", per un importo complessivo pari a 45 mila euro. Progetti, puntualizza il gruppo della Democrazia Cristiana, che si realizzano grazie al sostegno dell'onorevole Carmelo Pace alle due iniziative presentate dal Comune e che rappresentano, conclude la DC, l'ennesima dimostrazione del quotidiano impegno dell'onorevole Pace in favore della città di Sciacca, che prescinde dal colore politico di chi l'amministra.
