Sono stati derubati e picchiati e hanno dovuto far ricorso alle cure dei sanitari dell'ospedale Fratelli Parlapiano. E' successo a Ribera. Vittime di rapina e aggressione due giovani tunisini di 20 e 23 anni. Avevano acquistato la carne in un supermercato della zona e allestito un barbecue all'aperto quando sono stati raggiunti da diversi loro connazionali che, dapprima hanno chiesto loro di consegnare il denaro di cui erano in possesso e anche i pochi generi alimentari appena acquistati, poi al loro rifiuto sono passati all'azione. Hanno picchiato selvaggiamente i due giovani che hanno provato a reagire, ma sono stati presi a calci e pugni ripetutamente anche con l'utilizzo di bottiglie di vetro rotte. Sono intervenuti i carabinieri della tenenza di Ribera che dopo avere accompagnato i giovani magrebini in ospedale hanno iniziato le ricerche per individuare il gruppo di rapinatori. Determinante è stata la collaborazione offerta dalle vittime. Circostanza che gli inquirenti oggi hanno voluto sottolineare , parlando di fatto di straordinaria importanza, perchè sono state le informazioni fornite a consentire di rintracciare a arrestare dei loro connazionali. I carabinieri di Ribera, con la collaborazione dei militari del nucleo operativo della compagnia di Sciacca, hanno svolto accurate indagini che hanno permesso di identificare prima uno degli aggressori all'interno di un bar del centro crispino e, dopo qualche giorni, anche il secondo mentre camminava per le vie della città. Si tratta di Karoui Kalil di 31 anni e Moussa Safoine di 23 anni, entrambi nulla facenti, che sono stati sottoposti a fermo di polizia giudiziaria per il rischio che possano lasciare il paese e associati , come disposto dal sostituto procuratore Del Turco, al carcere di Sciacca in attesa di giudizio per rapina aggravata, minacce e lesioni. I due sono stati inoltre denunciati in quanto clandestini e già destinatari di decreto di espulsione.
