Tra l'erba alta e secca, non estirpata da mesi e mesi, c'è chi lascia sacchetti di spazzatura e rifiuti di ogni genere, compreso lo sterco di animali che qualche fattore non si prende la briga di smaltire nei luoghi adeguati e che contribuisce a rendere l'aria irrespirabile, insieme al cattivo odore che da sempre caratterizza la zona del Cansalamone. Quel che ne scaturisce, è una grave situazione igienico sanitaria che peggiora di giorno in giorno, attirando sempre più insetti, parassiti e randagi. Le foto non rendono bene il degrado imperante – aggiungono i residenti – perchè oltre all'immondizia, vige l'abbandono totale da parte di chi dovrebbe dare un po' di dignità alla zona effettuando un minimo di potatura e scerbatura, azioni sconosciute da quando il ponte è chiuso, come se la strada non appartenesse più al territorio di Sciacca Alcuni cespugli sono così folti ed alti da invadere la carreggiata ed ostruire la visuale di chi si immette nella strada proveniendo dalla Via Cappuccini: diversi incidenti – concludono i residenti – sono stati evitati per puro caso. Abitanti della zona che quindi, chiedono con urgenza un intervento sia di scerbatura, sia di pulizia e di raccolta dei rifiuti.
