Ieri pomeriggio la Protezione civile ha diffuso il bollettino meteorologico al seguito del quale i sindaci di Sciacca, Agrigento, Licata, Canicattì e Ribera hanno diramato l'avviso alla popolazione riguardante le giornate del 25 e del 26 settembre. Allerta arancione anche nel trapanese. Tanta apprensione ieri sera tra le famiglie, soprattutto riguardo l'apertura o meno, per la giornata di oggi, degli uffici e delle scuole. I nubifragi del 2016 e del 2017 sono, infatti, rimasti impressi nella memoria degli agrigentini. Ma questa mattina, per fortuna, tutto si è svolto regolarmente: com'era stato previsto, infatti, la fase clou del temporale, ha interessato principalmente la notte. L'avviso diramato dai sindaci non ha, pertanto, contemplato la chiusura degli istituti scolastici. Occorre, comunque, prestare attenzione per l'intera giornata odierna: l'allerta meteo, come previsto dalla protezione civile, cessarà ufficialmente soltanto alla mezzanotte di oggi, potrebbero, quindi, verificarsi nuovi violenti rovesci. I codici di criticità meteo, lo ricordiamo, sono 4: verde ( vigilanza ), gialla ( attenzione ), arancione ( preallerta ) e rosso ( allarme ). Ed il livello di preallerta arancione viene emanato, in particolare, per il “rischio meteo - idrogeologico ed idraulico”, al seguito del quale oggi, il Libero Consorzio di Agrigento, raccomanda la massima prudenza in particolare agli automobilisti che percorrono le strade interne. Le condizioni generali delle arterie provinciali, ex consortili ed ex regionali, notoriamente non buone, possono, infatti, essere ulteriormente compromesse dalla presenza di fango e detriti sulle carreggiate. I forti venti previsti, inoltre, aumentano il rischio di caduta di grossi rami. Attenzione – continuano dal Libero Consorzio – anche ad eventuali frane e smottamenti che potrebbero verificarsi da scarpate e terreni frontalieri. Il Settore Infrastrutture Stradale comunica, inoltre, che con i suoi tecnici e cantonieri in queste ore sta effettuando un attento monitoraggio della rete stradale. Oltre a raccomandare prudenza nel mettersi alla guida delle auto, consiglia, infine, di prestare massima attenzione in prossimità di corsi d'acqua, in particolare a valle delle dighe, per la possibilità di fenomeni localizzati di esondazione.
