A rischio, quindi, ci sono i fondi di 96 tra Comuni e Città Metropolitane, e oltre 1600 interventi. A questi Comuni è stato intimato di rimodulare gli impegni di spesa ed i pagamenti, mentre il governo conta di reindirizzare le somme risparmiate verso altri capitoli di spesa. A protestare oggi contro questa decisione è la CGIL provinciale, guidata da Massimo Raso, che parla di scippo intollerabile. “E' un atto che oltre ad avere il sapore dell'incostituzionalità fa sì che le periferie non possano più fare affidamento su risorse per le quali i sindaci dei comuni hanno già sottoscritto anni fa convenzioni con il governo” - afferma Raso. La CGIL, in particolar modo, fa riferimento al caso di Agrigento che resterebbe a bocca asciutta, proprio a causa di questa inversione ad U del governo gialloverde. Stessa sorte è toccata a Palermo, Catania, Messina e tante altre ancora.
