nell'ambito della ripartizione dei fondi Feamp in favore della pesca che la Regione è pronta a licenziare. In tutto, sono 16 milioni e 300 mila euro i fondi comunitari Feamp già assegnati, destinati a diverse opere e i cui decreti di finanziamento sono ormai in fase avanzata. E' quanto hanno assicurato il dirigente del dipartimento pesca mediterranea Dario Cartabellotta, il presidente della Regione Nello Musumeci e l'assessore regionale Edy Bandiera dinanzi ad una nutrita rappresentanza di sindaci di città marinare e isole minori. Infrastrutture da sistemare, porti da costruire ex novo, sostegno all'innovazione e al rinnovo della flotta peschereccia che conta 2.773 scafi e circa diecimila addetti, ed ancora strumenti di agevolazione creditizia e di promozione turistica legata alle reti da pesca. A tutto questo saranno destinati i fondi Feamp. Bando che divide le 62 città marinare siciliane in sette Gruppi di Azione Locale chiamati Flag. E tra i gruppi beneficiari, c'è dunque il Flag di Sciacca con due milioni 120 mila euro che serviranno per la realizzazione di infrastrutture dei porti di pesca, di piccole strutture portuali, dei siti di sbarco e dei ripari di pesca, inclusi gli investimenti per la raccolta di scarti e rifiuti marini. Opere, dunque, che si andranno ad aggiungere a quelle già realizzate nella zona portuale di Sciacca con il Gac “Il sole e l'azzurro” ma che attendono ancora di entrare in funzione. In molti casi le pratiche sono ancora ferme alla Regione e si attende perfino la consegna di queste opere. Il governo regionale, grazie a questi investimenti, conta di rigenerare il settore e arrivare a quota 13 mila occupati entro la fine del mandato.
