in questi 14 mesi ha dormito limitandosi soltanto ad effettuare interventi raffazzonati. E' questo il tono del nuovo duro attacco di oggi del consigliere comunale di opposizione Giuseppe Milioti nei confronti della giunta Valenti. Il riferimento è alle condizioni del campo alternativo “Giuffré”, ancora chiuso, e dello stadio comunale “Gurrera” dove il terreno di gioco continua ad essere un pantano impraticabile nonostante siano in corso dei lavori che però, probabilmente, non saranno sufficienti per risolvere tutti problemi presenti nella struttura. Milioti, nel ritenere lodevole l'iniziativa del gruppo di professionisti che ha deciso di costituire una nuova società per rilanciare il calcio a Sciacca, è invece assai critico nei confronti dell'operato dell'amministrazione comunale in tema di sport. Ricorda, il consigliere di opposizione, di avere più volte avanzato proposte all'amministrazione, invitando il Comune a partecipare dapprima al bando del Coni denominato “Sport e periferie” e poi ad un altro bando. Proposte, osserva Giuseppe Milioti, puntualmente disattese e, dopo un anno e due mesi, l'unica cosa che l'amministrazione in carica ha saputo produrre sono interventi raffazzonati e dell'ultimo momento che denotano mancanza di organizzazione e di coordinamento nonché disinteresse nei confronti dello sport. Grave, per Milioti, il fatto che il sindaco Francesca Valenti continui a mantenere la delega allo sport, non assegnata a nessuno dei nuovi assessori, senza mai occuparsene.
