Lo avevano annunciato ieri a fronte di quello che hanno definito un “ulteriore sgarbo istituzionale” e “altra bugia” targata Francesca Valenti in riferimento all'impegno assunto dall'amministrazione di garantire la trasmissione in diretta del Consiglio Comunale una volta approvato il bilancio 2018. Bilancio approvato da mesi, ma impegno non mantenuto.
Del resto, come evidenziato ieri in un comunicato stampa, in 15 mesi di consiliatura, solamente una volta è stata garantita la presenza in aula delle tv locali, attraverso la contribuzione dell'opposizione.
Iniziativa che sarà ripetuta stasera. La diretta del Consiglio Comunale sarà garantita dai consiglieri di Centrodestra, del Movimento 5 Stelle e di Mizzica.
Non era mai successo in passato che i consiglieri arrivassero a tanto, ma va evidenziato che non ce ne era bisogno. A Sciacca, la trasmissione dei lavori consiliari in diretta televisiva ha sempre rappresentato negli anni la garanzia di trasparenza dell'attività politico amministrativa e un servizio importante per la cittadinanza.
Ancor di più in occasioni importanti come quella di stasera. All'ordine del giorno del Consiglio Comunale c'è il conto consuntivo 2017 . Non solo numeri, ma il rendiconto di un anno di amministrazione. La questione peraltro ha rappresentato l'ennesima occasione di scontro tra opposizione e amministrativa per il disavanzo di un milione e mezzo di euro che si è registrato lo scorso anno. Conto consuntivo che approda stasera in aula con il parere contrario della commissione consiliare bilancio e finanze .
Ma soprattutto quella di questa sera è la prima seduta dopo l'azzeramento della giunta operato dal sindaco e l'occasione, dunque, per Francesca Valenti di presentare al Consiglio la sua nuova squadra, anche se al dibattito politico sarà dedicata una apposita seduta in programma il 10 ottobre prossimo.
