di una legge che impone ai deputati e agli assessori regionali, ma anche ai sindaci e ai consiglieri comunali, di dichiarare la propria eventuale appartenenza a logge massoniche. Promotore del testo l'onorevole Claudio Fava, presidente dell'antimafia regionale. Una norma che ha spaccato il Parlamento malgrado poi sia passata con 39 voti a favore e 2 contrari. Ma cosa prevede nello specifico la legge varata ieri sera. Il testo impone ai deputati e ai componenti della giunta regionale di dichiarare entro 45 giorni se fanno parte di logge massoniche o similari che creano vincoli gerarchici, solidaristici e di obbedienza, precisandone la denominazione. E la comunicazione va fatta in ogni caso, sia per dichiarare l'appartenenza alla massoneria sia per evidenziare che non si è iscritti ad alcuna associazione. Attraverso un emendamento, inoltre, l'obbligo è stato esteso anche a sindaci, assessori e consiglieri comunali. In caso di mancata comunicazione, la norma prevede la pubblicazione sul sito istituzionale dei nomi di chi non avrà rispettato l'obbligo di fare la dichiarazione. Un testo che ha visto soprattutto l'Udc schierarsi apertamente contro. Il capogruppo Eleonora Lo Curto ha più volte parlato di incostituzionalità e inutilità della norma. Favorevoli fin dall'inizio, invece, il Partito Democratico e il Movimento 5 Stelle, seppure con qualche distinguo. I grillini avrebbero voluto norme più incisive e sanzioni più severe per il mancato rispetto degli obblighi previsti dalla legge. Esulta invece Claudio Fava, promotore del testo. La Sicilia è la prima regione d'Italia i cui parlamentari hanno l'obbligo di dichiarare l'iscrizione ad una loggia massonica, ha commentato Fava dopo l'approvazione. Nonostante le fortissime pressioni in senso contrario, abbiamo affermato un dovere di trasparenza e di responsabilità che andrebbe esteso a tutte le cariche elettive in Italia, ha concluso il presidente dell'antimafia regionale.
