il giudice Rosario Di Gioia ha condannato ad un anno di reclusione per violenza privata ed assolto invece dalle accuse di circonvenzione di incapace e lesioni colpose Giuseppina Ventura, la donna di 30 anni di Lucca Sicula arrestata nei mesi scorsi per estorsione ai danni di un anziano del luogo. Il Pubblico Ministero Carlo Boranga aveva chiesto tre anni di reclusione. La vicenda è quella scoperta dai Carabinieri alcuni mesi fa nel piccolo centro agrigentino, quando la trentenne venne arrestata a conclusione di una attivita' di indagine avviata a seguito della denuncia da parte dell'anziano. Per l'accusa, Giuseppina Ventura si sarebbe fatta consegnare dall'uomo circa diecimila euro con la scusa di dovere aiutare il proprio fratello. Anziano che poi la casalinga avrebbe poi minacciato di morte quando l'uomo chiedeva la restituzione del denaro. A Giuseppina Ventura la Procura, oltre alla circonvenzione di incapace, contestava anche le lesioni colpose e la violenza privata sostenendo la responsabilità della donna nel tentativo di suicidio dell'anziano. La donna, difesa dall'avvocato Paolo Mirabella che aveva chiesto l'assoluzione dalle accuse più gravi e i minimi di pena per violenza privata, si trova agli arresti domiciliari.
