Una situazione inaccetabile per i consiglieri Carmela Santangelo, Salvatore Monte e Pasquale Bentivegna che oggi hanno presentato una interrgazione. “La caduta di un vetro dalle finestre della palestra ha, giustamente, spinto la dirigenza e l'amministrazione a vietare l'utilizzo della struttura per salvaguardare l'incolumità dei ragazzi – dichiarano i tre consiglieri di opposizione – ma è vergognoso che ad oggi non si sia provveduto ad una messa in sicurezza e ad una sostituzione delle finestre ritenute pericolose”. Sono passati, infatti, 20 giorni dall'interdizione della palestra, e gli studenti continuano a non poter svolgere le attività di educazione fisica. Vanno anche oltre, i consiglieri Santangelo, Monte e Bentivegna, evidenziando che, a seguito dei nubifragi delle settimane scorse, nessun intervento risolutivo è stato effettuato nel resto della città, ma soltanto soluzioni tampone. Continuano ad essere ben visibili i danni del maltempo, con transenne in ogni dove ed arterie stradali ancora chiuse. Per i tre consiglieri, comprare transenne non è la soluzione ma un temporaneo palliativo che innervosisce sempre di più l'intera popolazione. Carmela Santangelo, Salvatore Monte e Pasquale Bentivegna, in conclusione, chiedono all'amministrazione di adoperarsi in tempi celeri per consentire la riapertura della palestra della scuola media Inveges e se il Comune abbia stanziato o meno fondi di somma urgenza per far fronte alle criticità che, da giorni, stanno caratterizzando la città di Sciacca.
