E' lì che queste donne ricerveranno le prime cure ma anche sostegno psicologico. La “stanza rosa” rappresenta contestualmente il punto di partenza di un più percorso per le donne che subiscono violenza. L'attivazione di questo importante servizio rientra nel protocollo d'intesa tra Procura della Repubblica di Sciacca, Asp di Agrigento, Arma dei Carabinieri, Polizia di Stato e Comune di Sciacca sottoscritto qualche mese fa e attraverso il quale è stata creata una rete interistituzionale volta a garantire assistenza e protezione a tutte le vittime di violenza e a contrastare il fenomeno della violenza di genere. Una rete che vede insieme, dunque, personale sanitario, magistrati, forze dell'ordine e Sportello Antiviolenza del Comune di Sciacca. Questa mattina conferenza stampa di presentazione degli obiettivi del protocollo d'intesa e contestuale inaugurazione della “stanza rosa”. Il progetto promosso dalla Procura della Repubblica e che adesso diventa realtà attraverso l'apertura della “stanza rosa” e attivazione del “codice rosa” all'interno del Pronto Soccorso, colloca l'ospedale di Sciacca tra le prime strutture ospedaliere regionali che hanno avviato tale attività.
