il gruppo di lavoro in seno all'ATI ha lavorato alle bozze di statuto sia di una spa a totale capitale pubblico sia di una azienda speciale consortile che saranno sottoposte a breve ai sindaci ed ai comitati. Lo ha tenuto a precisare il presidente dell'Assemblea Terrioriale Idrica Francesca Valenti durante l'incontro di ieri con i comitati, le associazioni ed il Forum siciliano dei movimenti per l'acqua e i beni comuni. Incontro organizzato dalla presidenza dell'Ati proprio per fare chiarezza in ordine alla futura gestione del servizio idrico. Francesca Valenti ha dunque smentito le voci in base alle quali ci si avvia verso una società per azioni a totale capitale pubblico. Tutti i comitati e le associazioni presenti, dal canto loro, hanno riconfermato la loro posizione a favore dell'azienda speciale consortile ritenendola l'unica forma gestionale in grado di garantire un effettivo controllo democratico da parte dei cittadini e la natura pubblica del servizio anche dal punto di vista giuridico. Per comitati e movimenti, l'azienda speciale consortile consentirebbe inoltre di mettere la gestione al riparo da eventuali privatizzazioni future, sempre possibili invece per una s.p.a. che volesse cedere quote azionarie. Il sindaco di Sciacca e presidente dell'Ati, auspicando uno spirito di collaborazione, ha chiesto che le bozze vengano esaminate attentamente e senza pregiudizi, valutando i lati positivi e quelli negativi che ciascuna forma di gestione oggettivamente presenta. Insomma, si è ancora in una fase di valutazione delle ipotesi e nessuna decisione è stata ancora assunta. Questo ha tenuto a precisare Francesca Valenti che ha poi dato la propria disponibilità a recepire emendamenti alle bozze di statuto e ad aggiornarsi ad un nuovo incontro nel merito, anche alla presenza dei sindaci della provincia, da svolgersi prima dell'assemblea plenaria dell' ATI che formalizzera' la scelta tra azienda speciale consortile ed s.p.a.
