Una novità per il centro agrigentino che vuole puntare i riflettori sui grani antichi, ultimamente sempre più spesso al centro del dibattito attuale riguardo salute e cucina. Per la manifestazione il Comune ciancianese si vestirà a festa.
L'amministrazione comunale, guidata dal sindaco Martorana, intende scommettere tutto sui grani antichi, promuovendo cereali e legumi attraverso convegni, incontri, dibattiti e stand espositivi di numerose aziende provenienti da diverse parti della Sicilia, che proporranno degustazioni. Naturalmente non mancheranno anche momenti di intrattenimento, con musica e cabaret.
Il programma dell'evento più atteso dell'estate ciancianese avrà inizio il 27 luglio alle 18,30 con un convegno dal tema: "L'AgroBiodiversità Siciliana. Un patrimonio per l'economia". Subito dopo avverrà l'ingresso in città della locale banda musicale guidata dal Maestro Salvatore Scimeca che darà il via al taglio del nastro della Sagra con l'apertura di diversi stand. La serata proseguirà con lo shoow cooking "Come ti ingrano il grano" a cura di Lady Chef Laura Savaia che negli altri giorni si alternerà con l'altro chef Gianfranco Dainotti. Tra gli eventi di cabaret segnaliamo i "4 gusti" domani, Ernesto Maria Ponte sarà il mattatore di domenica 28 luglio, "I Respinti" saranno di scena il 30 luglio. Per la musica, domani il tributo a Jovanotti presso la Scalinata dell'Orologio e gli Albanova alla mezzanotte di martedì 30 luglio. Prevista anche la presenza del Masterclass Gianluca Nardone che delizierà i presenti per tre serate consecutive, dal 27 al 30 luglio. Inoltre, sia sabato 27 che domenica 28, sarà presente anche Tony Rocchetta, di “Quintessenza-I sapuri siciliani” che parlerà anche della mappatura della coltivazione dei grani antichi che si sta espandendo nell'isola. In programma anche numerosi momenti di degustazione.
