vicono alla sede “Massariotta” di Marineo dove erano arrivati il giorno prima.
Sono tutti rientrati a Sciacca, i ragazzi già ieri sera, i capi questa mattina, e stanno tutti bene. E’ stata una precauzione, dettata dai Vigili del Fuoco, quella di smontare tende e attrezzature dalla base di Marineo perché l’incendio non ha interessato l’area dove gli scout erano accampati, ma il vicino bosco. Non è la prima volta che succede, soprattutto nella stagione estiva. Delusione, dunque, per un campo estivo che avrebbe dovuto concludersi sabato prossimo, ma è andata così. Ovviamente, prima di tutto viene la prevenzione e la sicurezza.
Peraltro il clima non era tra i più sereni, dopo la vicenda che ha riguardato i sette ragazzi ed un accompagnatore di 26 anni, sempre dello Sciacca 2, del quale non si avevano più notizie e che avrebbe dovuto raggiungere la base di Marineo per unirsi al resto del gruppo. L’allarme, legato al fatto che non erano raggiungibili telefonicamente, perché il segnale era assente nella zona in cui si trovavano, era scattato sabato pomeriggio. Il gruppo aveva smarrito il sentiero che avrebbero dovuto percorrere, ma stavano comunque continuando per raggiungere gli altri a Marineo. Ovviamente gli altri hanno aspettato, nella speranza di riuscire a rintracciarli, ma poi è scattato l’allarme ed è stata messa in moto una imponente attività di ricerca da parte dei carabinieri e della Forestale, con l’ausilio anche di un elicottero. E’ grazie a questo mezzo sono stati localizzati ieri mattina e poi riportati a Sciacca, anche perché da lì a poco il resto del gruppo dello Sciacca 2 che era alla base scout della Massariotta ha dovuto far rientro in città a causa dell’incendio.
Tutto è bene, quel che finisce bene e anche il presidente della Regione, Nello Musumeci ha espresso apprezzamento per forze dell’ordine e forestale per il pronto intervento. che erano prontamente intervenu Ovviamente per le tante famiglie coinvolte sono state ore di apprensione, anche se gli interessati, da bravi scout, hanno vissuto le disavventure con serenità. Lo evidenzia, questa mattina, la comunità capi dello Sciacca 2 che
che si sono adoperate per superare le difficoltà.
I nostri ragazzi, hanno scritto nel comunicato stampa, nell’affrontare due situazioni inattese di difficoltà verificatesi nel corso dell’attività del campo estivo, quali quella di aver smarrito il sentiero principale e di un incendio appiccato da mano dolosa al di fuori della base scout dove si stava svolgendo il campo, hanno vissuto entrambe le esperienze continuando a sorridere e cantare.
Lo scautismo è una palestra di vita che insegna a cavarsela da soli, a saper gestire i momenti di difficoltà, a trovare soluzioni con le proprie risorse personali e non dimentichiamoci, evidenziano ancora i responsabili dello Sciacca 2 che oggi può essere più pericoloso per i ragazzi vivere una serata o una nottata senza regole , piuttosto che andar per i boschi, con tutte le difficoltà che la natura può presentare.
I genitori che affidano i ragazzi allo scautismo sanno che questo fa parte del gioco e che simili esperienze possono capitare. Insomma, la comunità capi del gruppo scout Sciacca 2 ha voluto ridimensionare una vicenda che ritengono sia stata enfatizzata dai media, contribuendo ad alimentare confusione e panico. Riflessione che riportiamo, ma per la quale ci permettiamo di evidenziare, per quel che ci riguarda, lo stile che da sempre ci contraddistingue e che non è certamente quello di alimentare paura o ingigantire notizie.
