Un momento di confronto tra amministrazione, consiglio comunale e comitati e associazioni che operano in città. La seduta consiliare sarà trasmessa questa sera in diretta su Tele Monte Kronio, a partire dalle ore 20. Vista l’importanza dell’argomento e a fronte della impossibilità manifestata dal Comune di Sciacca di garantire la copertura del costo del servizio, si sono mossi comitati e associazioni per garantire il servizio della diretta televisiva. Una iniziativa promossa dal Centro Studi De Gasperi alla quale hanno aderito prontamente in tanti, non solo associazioni e comitati, ma anche singoli cittadini e due consiglieri comunali.
Evidentemente, ha commentato Stefano Scaduto, è avvertita fortemente l’esigenza di rendere partecipi i cittadini delle scelte compiute dalla politica e questo dimostra che c’è una città viva e che non vuole farsi addormentare.
La presidenza del Consiglio Comunale, questa mattina ha diramato un comunicato stampa elogiando l’iniziativa ed evidenziando che anche i consiglieri intendono contribuire. La raccolta fondi, ha evidenziato Scaduto, si è conclusa ieri sera e tutti ne erano a conoscenza . Prendiamo atto della volontà del consiglio comunale, conclude Stefano Scaduto e invitiamo la presidenza ad utilizzare il contributo dei consiglieri per un’altra seduta consiliare con argomenti di altrettanta importanza per la città .
