si svolgerà regolarmente il 24 e 25 agosto prossimi, ma questa volta non a Sciacca bensì nei comuni di Ribera e Menfi. La manifestazione, infatti, giunta all'undicesima edizione, non è stata inserita tra gli eventi estivi della città di Sciacca. Ma la società organizzatrice, il “Discobolo”, non si è scoraggiata nell'istante in cui ha appreso che il trofeo internazionale non figurava nel cartellone dell'estate saccense nonostante l'associazione abbia iniziato a lavorare alla organizzazione dell'evento quattro mesi fa. E in un comunicato stampa, oggi è il presidente Pippo Simone Vullo a sfogare l'amarezza e la delusione dell'associazione per l'indifferenza mostrata dal sindaco e dall'amministrazione comunale. Il comune di Sciacca e, nello specifico, l'assessorato al turismo e spettacolo, scrive Vullo, avevano sulla scrivania l'istanza del Discobolo già dal 10 maggio scorso, compresa la relazione illustrativa, ma per motivi che non conosciamo non ci è stata data alcuna risposta, né positiva né negativa. Questo però, non ci ha fermati, continua Vullo, e l'Aerobic Competition andrà avanti grazie alla disponibilità di alcuni comuni della zona, e precisamente la città di Ribera dove l'evento internazionale si svolgerà il 24 agosto, e il comune di Menfi dove lo spettacolo che anche quest'anno registrerà la presenza di atleti di grande spessore nazionale e mondiale si svolgerà nella giornata del 25 agosto. Ci apriremo all'hinterland di Sciacca e continueremo a promuovere il territorio, prosegue il Discobolo, ci saranno altre occasioni per fare ulteriori e specifici approfondimenti sulla gestione dello sport come strumento di aggregazione sociale e come veicolo di promozione turistica, fermo restando che è un nostro diritto conoscere i motivi dell'esclusione dagli eventi estivi, conclude Pippo Simone Vullo.
