Il 95% dei posti letto disponibili, infatti, risulta già venduto. Resta indietro invece, rispetto alle principali mete turistiche della Sicilia ma rispetto anche ad altre città della provincia, la città di Agrigento dove la percentuale di camere vendute per la notte clou dell'estate, ossia quella del 14 agosto, non va oltre il 78%. A rivelarlo è uno studio condotto da Confcommercio – Federalberghi Agrigento che ha preso in esame i dati sulle presenze turistiche nelle strutture ricettive città per città riferiti al periodo centrale della stagione estiva quale è appunto il Ferragosto. Dati dunque deludenti per il capoluogo di provincia rispetto ad altre città siciliane ma anche dell'agrigentino. Sciacca invece tiene e supera addirittura Taormina, così come Menfi dove per Ferragosto sarà occupato il 98% dei posti letto disponibili. Seguono Licata con il 95% e Realmonte con il 93% anche se è evidente che sono dati che possono essere paragonati tra di loro fino ad un certo punto perchè chiaramente la disponibilià di posti letto dei piccoli Comuni è sicuramente inferiore rispetto a quella di città come Sciacca o della stessa Agrigento. Guida questa classifica, riferita lo ricordiamo solo al Ferragosto, San Vito Lo Capo con il 99% mentre Cefalù e Taormina si attestano tra il 92 e 93% così come Trapani e Siracusa.
