Una iniziativa assunta dalla presidente Margherita La Rocca Ruvolo e dal vice presidente Carmelo Pullara dopo l’incontro con i parlamentari del territorio di Sciacca organizzato dal Comitato Civico Patrimonio Termale.
Avevo preso l'impegno di portare la questione Terme all’attenzione del governo e del parlamento siciliano e per questa ragione, ha dichiarato il deputato Pullara,la commissione sanità dell’ARS ha voluto promuovere questo primo momento di confronto al quale era stato invitato l’interlocutore principale, ossia l’assessore regionalale all’economia Gaetano Armao che, però, non era presente. C’erano invece i parlamentari Matteo Mangiacavallo e Michele Catanzaro, oltre ovviamente a Margherita La Rocca Ruvolo e Carmelo Pullara. C’era anche il consigliere Carmela Santangelo presidente della commissione sanità del consiglio comunale di Sciacca e l’assessore Sino Caracappa. Il Comitato Civico era rappresentanto da Zammuto, Porrello, Cucchiara, Mistretta e Butera.
Comitato che, nonostante l’assenza dell’assessore Armao non abbia consentito di entrare nel merito della questione Terme, valuta positivamente la riunione di ieri che è servita a ribadire la richiesta di far sedere attorno ad un tavolo tutti gli attori che hanno competenza, regione e comune, per arrivare ad un cronoprogramma che definisca una volta per tutte le cose da fare, chi le deve fare e i tempi tassativi per farle.
Abbiamo chiesto che la politica a livello regionale e comunale si riappropri del proprio ruolo per portare a soluzione una problematica che mortifica le possibilità di sviluppo turistico della città di Sciacca e dell’intera Sicilia Occidentale, hanno detto gli esponenti del Comitato Civico Patrimonio Termale che hanno ottenuto dalla presidente della commissione sanità dell’ARS l’impegno a convocare una nuova riunione, ottenendo la presenza alla stessa dell’assessore regionale all’economia.
