dopo anni e anni di precariato, possono finalmente coronare il sogno della stabilizzazione. La cerimonia è in programma lunedì prossimo 23 dicembre alle ore 12 all'interno dell'aula consiliare Leonardo Frenna, alla presenza delle autorità cittadine e chiaramente dei lavoratori. Non poteva esserci migliore regalo di Natale per queste 91 famiglie che hanno seguito con ansia le vicende degli ultimi mesi e delle ultime settimane che poi hanno avuto l'atteso lieto fine venerdì scorso con l'approvazione del bilancio di previsione e degli altri atti propedeutici alla loro stabilizzazione da parte del Consiglio Comunale. Se da un lato gioiscono coloro che da lunedì prossimo diventeranno ex articolisti, dall'altro continua invece la preoccupazione per il futuro di un'altra categoria di precari, i lavoratori Asu. A Ribera sono 45, in tutta la Sicilia 5.200. Per loro, a differenza di quelli che potranno essere stabilizzati, non c'è né una norma regionale di riferimento né tanto meno la cosiddetta storicizzazione della copertura finanziaria. Lavoratori che, su iniziativa dei sindacati, si sono riuniti in assemblea a Messina per discutere del loro futuro e per mettere a punto le strategie per ottenere entro il 2020 la stabilizzazione. L'appello lanciato all'Assemblea Regionale Siciliana è quello di portare a compimento un disegno di legge che è ancora in discussione e fermo in quinta commissione e che assicura un finanziamento di 38 milioni di euro per consentire di strutturare gli Asu come dipendenti degli enti locali. Grazie a questi 38 milioni di euro, si legge nel documento, tutti i Comuni siciliani potrebbero stabilizzare il personale precario che da oltre vent'anni assicura mansioni indispensabili per la collettività e mettere fine alla piaga del precariato che vede questi lavoratori coprire i vuoti in organico nella pubblica amministrazione ed essere pagati con appena 500 euro al mese, concludono i sindacati.
