E’ quanto hanno segnalato alcuni genitori ai consiglieri comunali Giuseppe Milioti e Calogero Bono che oggi commentano il caso sostenendo che si tratta dell’ennesima inafficienza targata amministrazione Valenti. E’ inconcepibile, scrivono, che nel mese di gennaio, proprio quando si registra un significativo calo delle temperature, la scuola Sant’Agostino sia senza riscaldamento con i bambini e, ovviamente, anche insegnanti e personale scolastico costretti ad indossare cappotti e sciarpe per proteggersi dal freddo.
La mancanza di programmazione di questa amministrazione è un limite riscontrato in più occasioni, non solo sul tema dell’edilizia scolastica”, commentano i due consiglieri di opposizione, ma è grave che riguardi persino il monitoraggio e la manutenza degli impianti di riscaldamento nelle scuole e che non si intervenga prontamente laddove, come alla scuola di Sant’Agostino, ci si un problema di mancato funzionamento e ci si ritrovi in pieno gennaio con il gelo nelle aule. Era necessario che qualcuno dei genitori manifestasse il loro disagio e la loro indignazione per una condizione vergognosa in cui sono costretti ad operare alunni ed insegnanti perché l’amministrazione comunale magari si ricordasse di effettuare un monitoraggio sulle aule, chiedono Bono e Milioti per i quali il sindaco e l’assessore competente dovrebbero assumersi la responsabilità di quanto è successo e provvedere immediatamente a quella che considerano una negligenza garantendo dalla prossima settimana il regolare funzionamento dei riscaldamenti alla scuola Sant’Agostino di Sciacca. Bono e Milioti sollecitano, con l’occasione, anche una verifica nelle altre strutture scolastiche della città di competenza comunale per escludere altri problemi e garantire le migliori condizioni a studenti e insegnanti.
