Ma l'emergenza Coronavirus, e tutti i precetti del Governo che stabiliscono il divieto di riunioni e assembramenti, lo hanno costretto a revocare il provvedimento, e così i 22 punti all'ordine del giorno dei lavori dovranno continuare ad aspettare ed essere discussi in un'altra circostanza, magari quando finalmente ogni allarme sarà cessato. Succede anche questo in tempi di psicosi, anche se tutto sommato non di psicosi si tratta, visto che i fatti delle ultime ore stanno dimostrando che ogni precauzione non è mai abbastanza. E così anche a Ribera c'è chi, come l'avvocato Matteo Ruvolo, pur impegnato nella campagna elettorale per le prossime elezioni amministrative, ha dovuto prendere atto della situazione di oggettiva difficoltà decidendo di rinviare a data da destinarsi la conferenza stampa che aveva convocato per domenica mattina.
Anche l'ex parlamentare Peppe Ruvolo, che aveva convocato proprio per domani i giornalisti, ha deciso di annullare la sua conferenza stampa, a conferma che a Ribera la situazione è di oggettiva difficoltà. E, d'altra parte, nelle scorse ore c'è stato chi, come Gaetano Montalbano, dirigente della Lega Salvini Premier, ha ipotizzato la necessità di rinviare le stesse elezioni comunali, anche se nei comuni siciliani chiamati a rinnovare gli organismi istituzionali si voterà solo il 24 maggio. Ma è vero anche che Palazzo Chigi ha disposto di rinviare il referendum confermativo della riforma costituzionale del taglio dei parlamentari che era in programma il 29 di marzo. Insomma: l'emergenza Coronavirus sta stravolgendo tutti i programmi, come quello scattato ieri, con la chiusura di scuole e atenei, per evitare possibili contagi. Questione che induce però a richiamare tutti al senso di responsabilità, perché altrimenti rischia di essere inutile che i ragazzi non vadano a scuola e poi si ritrovino lo stesso al chiuso dei locali o nei luoghi di ritrovo.
