Così oggi pomeriggio il segretario dell'organizzazione sindacale Franco Zammuto, il quale si augura di non venire accusato di "fare politica" "come inopportunamente - osserva - è stato commentato da chi ha la responsabilità di garantire la salute e la sicurezza dei cittadini di questo territorio e con essi gli operatori sanitari esposti al rischio contaminazione". Zammuto fa proprio dunque quello che definisce "l'accorato appello della massima autorità sanitaria della città che, nel caso, interpreta esattamente il comune sentire dell'intera comunità e dell'intero territorio, se consideriamo il pericolo al quale si espone il P.O. di Sciacca, e che peraltro come Camera del Lavoro abbiamo avuto già in più occasioni modo di denunciare". Zammuto ricorda come, la Circolare ministeriale del 25-marzo 2020 chieda di puntare, "principalmente", su strutture da dedicare solo alla cura del Coronavirus e, solo in casi "eccezionali", procedere per percorsi alternativi. La Camera del Lavoro, dunque, dichiara di sostenere la richiesta di Francesca Valenti di modificare il piano di intervento già varato, sopratutto considerato che nel nostro territorio esistono le condizioni dettate nella circolare del ministro della salute Speranza. Chiaro, sebbene non citato, il riferimento di Zammuto all'ospedale di Ribera.
