Tre sono inserite nel programma di “Sciacca Libri in Festa”, manifestazione promossa dall’assessore alla cultura Gisella Mondino con la biblioteca “Aurelio Cassar” e la Biblioteca Junior. Le iniziative hanno preso il via oggi. Stamattina sulla pagina Facebook del Comune di Sciacca-Cultura è stato pubblicato un video racconto intitolato L’albero di Giovanni e dedicato al giudice Falcone, con la voce dell’attrice Francesca Licari e le illustrazioni della disegnatrice Eleonora La Cascia, cui si riferiscono le immagini. Il testo è stato scritto da alunni del secondo Circolo Didattico Sant’Agostino nell’ambito di un laboratorio di scrittura realizzato nel progetto di biblioteca Junior nella biblioteca “Cassar”, e contenuto nel libro Il cane tavolo. Nel pomeriggio, a partire dalle ore 17, sempre sulla pagina Facebook Comune di Sciacca-Cultura, si parlerà anche della strage nel corso della diretta con lo scrittore Gaetano Savatteri, autore del libro l’Attentatuni da cui è stata tratta l’omonima fiction per la Rai. Sabato 23 maggio, giorno dell'anniversario della strage di Capaci, il sindaco Francesca Valenti, con due vigili urbani, deporrà alle ore 9 una corona al cippo in pietra arenaria della villetta Lombardo che ricorda tutti i caduti nella lotta contro la mafia. Sempre sabato, sulla pagina Facebook del Comune, è stato programmato alle ore 18 un omaggio in musica col coro di voci bianche della Skenè Academy diretto dal maestro Ignazio Catanzaro.
