E’ con ironia che l’Associazione l’AltraSciacca interviene oggi su una problematica che si trascina da troppo tempo senza mai essere stata risolta definitivamente. Solo interventi tampone, l’ultimo dei quali qualche mese fa, con il risultato però che la situazione è nuovamnete tale e quale a quella di prima, ossia disastrosa. Mentre si costruiscono ospedali in sei giorni, evidenzia l’AltraSciacca, le amministrazione che si sono succedute nel tempo non sono riuscite a risolvere definitivamento il dissesto di una arteria che consente l’accesso alla spiaggia più frequentata da saccensi e turisti. Da decenni, ormai, si trascina il problema dello smottamento di via Ulisse, mentre gli importi spesi ogni anni per gli interventi tampone avranno sicuramente raggiunto cifre considerevoli. Insomma per l’AltraSciacca è stato sperperato denaro pubblico, senza riuscire a risolvere il problema. Un rilievo che l’associazione presieduta da Pietro Mistretta muove non solo all’attuale amministrazione, ma anche a quelle precedenti e che non trova giustificazione nel fatto, pur rilevante, che si tratta di una strada di proprietà di privati. In ogni caso, puntualmente ogni anno si sono effettuti degli interventi tamponi, anche più volte l’anno. Quindi il Comune di Sciacca è comunque intervenuto, a fronte della situazione di pericolo che riguarda la strada di accesso alla località balneare più frequentata. Invece di sperperare soldi senza raggiungere l’obiettivo, per l’AltraSciacca il Comune avrebbe dovuto superare la questione della proprietà, predisporre un intervento definitivo e attuarlo trovando i fondi necessari. E’ questa la strada che, pur di fronte all’emergenza economica legata oggi al Coronavirus, dovrebbe perseguire l’amministrazione Valenti evitando, sostiene l’AltraSciacca sulla base delle informazioni assunte dagli abitanti del posto, di perseguire ipotesi di raccolta fondi o questue varie attinenti alla proprietà privata della strada che è stata un impedimento, ma al tempo stesso anche la giustificazione del mancato intervento definitivo, salvo comunque spendere ogni anno soldi pubblici per lavori che hanno solo tamponato il problema per qualche mese. Peraltro pare che non manchi, e non sia mancata nel tempo, la disponibilità dei privati a cedere la strada al Comune per consentire ovviamente di superare il problema dello smottamento con la messa in sicurezza definitiva dell’arteria.
Stiamo percorrendo l’ipotesi, trattandosi di dissesto idrogeologico, di intervenire attraverso la struttura commissariale regionale, ha dichiarato questa mattina l’assessore ai lavori pubblico Roberto Lo Cicero.
