in ricordo dell'artista saccense Cosimo Barna, ieri sera, nel giorno dell' anniversario della sua scomparsa. Un'onda di colori, che trasporta in fondo al mare e travolge con le sue alici: sono loro il segno distintivo delle sue opere; un simbolo che ha carratterizzato tutta la vastissima produzione artistica di un maestro conosciuto e quotato in tutta Italia ed all'estero. Una personale che un gruppo di amici, molto vicini a Barna, i cosiddetti “Colazionisti”, grazie alla disponibilità della moglie Maria Grazia, hanno voluto allestire per rendergli omaggio. Salvatore Catanzaro, curatore della mostra, ha voluto così, ieri, ricordare l'amico Cosimo e le serate organizzate al suo laboratorio adibito all'interno di un salato. Dopo le dovute presentazioni, si sono spalancate le porte. Un colpo d'occhio l'opera da 8 metri per 3, collocata al centro della sala principale della mostra, dedicata al colore blu, una delle tante creazioni di Barna delle dimensioni importanti, che porta il nome di “Sciacca”, la sua città natale, che tanto ha amato e tanto ha criticato per la poca attenzione che le varie amministrazioni, ma anche gli stessi saccensi in generale, hanno dedicato, negli anni, alla cultura. Nero è, poi, il colore caratterizzante di una seconda stanza, quella dedicata al mare nostrum inquinatum, con l'acqua del mare sporca di petrolio e le sindoni di alici impresse nelle cassette di legno. Un trionfo di giallo, rosso, blu, arancio, infine, la terza sala, che raccoglie altre opere rappresentative del percorso artistico di Cosimo Barna. In tanti, già ieri, hanno potuto apprezzare le opere che sarà possibile ammirare alla Badia Grande fino a domenica 23 settembre. La mostra rientra, infatti, anche tra gli eventi collaterali dello Sciacca Film Fest.
