La città termale, infatti, è entrata a far parte del circuito di quello che è ritenuto uno dei più importanti festival italiani dedicati alla valorizzazione dei beni culturali ed artistici dello stivale, che ha preso il via anni fa a Palermo.
Gli ultimi tre fine settimana di settembre, ovvero i venerdì – sabato e domenica compresi tra il 13 ed il 29 settembre, dodici siti saccensi di interesse storico saranno aperti al pubblico dalle 10 del mattino fino alle 18.00. Sarà possibile visitare musei, chiese ed altri luoghi selezionati tra San Michele, il centro storico e la Marina, acquistando un coupon on-line presente sul sito www.leviedeitesori.com.
Saranno poi una trentina di ragazzi, adeguatamente formati, i ciceroni che spiegheranno ai partecipanti le caratteristiche e le curiosità dei posti che spesso sfuggono agli stessi residenti.
Ieri è stato organizzato dall’amministrazione, nella persona del vicesindaco ed assessore alla cultura Gisella Mondino, un incontro a Palazzo Lazzarini ( era presente anche l’assessore alla promozione strategica del territorio Sino Caracappa ). L’associazione “Le vie dei Tesori” ha, infatti, stipulato un protocollo d’intesa con il comune di Sciacca per avviare anche in città il percorso artistico – culturale. Il vicepresidente del gruppo palermitano, Marcello Barbaro, ha incontrato prima associazioni locali, artigiani, commercianti e operatori turistici riguardo l’organizzazzione del festival ( che ha maturato ben tredici anni di esperienza e che ora ha raggiunto non solo altre città siciliane come Sciacca, ma anche altre realtà oltre lo stretto ) e poi ha incontrato quelli che sono stati definiti i “conduttori” dell’iniziativa, ossia le guide turistiche che forniranno informazioni ai visitatori. Saranno adeguatamente informati sulle storie dei posti e, in pieno spirito dell’ evento, si tratterà di giovani e giovanissimi.
Insomma, la macchina organizzativa è più che avviata per l’iniziativa di settembre. Un’ occasione di riappropriazione dei luoghi da parte dei cittadini e un’ opportunità anche per i turisti. Già previsto l’arrivo a Sciacca di un paio di pullman da Palermo. Saranno quattrocentocinquanta in tutto i tesori visitabili tra palazzi nobiliari, terrazze segrete, monasteri, chiese e cripte, giardini, musei scientifici: luoghi in gran parte di solito chiusi o non raccontati. Quest’anno “Le vie dei tesori” si svolgerà in quindici tra capoluoghi e città d’arte della Sicilia, ma non tutti proprio in contemporanea. I weekend compresi tra il 13 e il 29 settembre, il festival interesserà, oltre Sciacca, anche Acireale, Siracusa, Noto, Messina, Trapani, Marsala, Sambuca, Naro e Caltanissetta. I fine settimana tra il 4 ed il 20 ottobre, a Ragusa, Modica e Sclicli. Infine, a Palermo ed a Catania, dal 4 ottobre al 3 novembre prossimi.
